Dr. Christopher Reynolds
DVM
I grew up in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Upon graduating high school, I enlisted in the US Navy, where I was a Navy Deep Sea Diver. Upon serving my enlistment, I attended Mississippi State University, where I earned a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and a MS in Wildlife Ecology. I began my professional career as a research biologist for an international timber company. I later attended Louisiana State University and earned my DVM degree.
I have been practicing in Bluffton/Beaufort for nearly 12 years. I appreciate all aspects of small animal medicine. I particularly like soft tissue surgery and advanced medical evaluations. I recognize the importance of making myself available for the client’s needs for the pet’s end of life.
In my spare time, I can often be found on the water fishing. I enjoy spending time with my family. My three dogs, Lolli, Ellie, and Hoyt keep me busy as well.
Dr. Mary Logan
DVM
I was born in Charleston SC on November 18, 1980 but was raised my entire life in Beaufort SC. I grew up on a small animal farm with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and ducks and was a biology fanatic from the get go winning many science fairs. I completed a Bachelors in Biology from College of Charleston and then received my DVM in 2008 from Mississippi State University. I have practiced small animal general practice and emergency medicine and surgery mostly in and around Atlanta GA. While in Atlanta, I also taught undergraduate anatomy and physiology for many years and have developed my skills and talent as a mural artist.
I recently relocated back to the South Carolina rural lowcountry where I have my horses, dogs, and cats and continue my career as a small animal general practitioner. I have a passion for the human animal bond and strive to always support the health and well being of companion animals. In addition to my busy life taking care of animals, I love exploring the great outdoors, riding my horse, singing a variety musical genres and painting murals when I have the time and even mud bogging in our famous pluff mud at low tide.
